About Us

Brother Dan Palmer is best classified as an upbeat and observant singing songwriter specializing in Modern Americana music. Often compared to artists as diverse as John Mayer, Maroon 5, James Taylor, David Wilcox, Dan Fogelberg, Todd Snider, Dave Mason, and Harry Chapin, Brother Dan is a lifelong musician who began studying classical guitar at the age of 6, began performing at the age of eight, and has been playing professionally since the age of 16. His career has included literally thousands of hours of live performances, and continues to take him all over the world and back again, to Northern Nevada, his home for the past 30 years. Currently touring and promoting his latest all-original CD, titled "Nothin' Better Than This," Brother Dan continues to move forward. Along with the pending release of "The Nashville Sessions" EP (release is scheduled for late fall of 2008) which is made up of new "electrified" band versions of five of the songs from "Nothin' Better Than This," Brother Dan is currently writing in preparation for his next full-length CD. Preliminary performances of the new material are being very well received, and seem to echo the thoughts of Brother Dan's audience. The musicians that accompany Brother Dan on "Nothin' Better Than This" are all seasoned professionals with first rate credentials and recording credits in their own right, and each has been working with Brother Dan for at least 7 years, and some as long as 25 years.
