A very creative multi-instrumentalist, Phil is featured on acoustic guitar, acoustic slide guitar, mandolin, and electric guitar on "Nothin' Better Than This." Also a talented and versatile vocalist, with vocal styles ranging from David Lee Roth to George Jones, Phil's other instruments inlcude 12-string acoustic and harmonica. His playing credits include: Prince, John Cafferty, and David Frizzell, plus he has opened shows for Firefall, Dave Mason, J.J. Cale, and Tom Rush, among others.
Phil and Brother Dan originally met almost 25 years ago while playing live on local television. Phil has a virtual herd of acoustic instruments, and when he's not playing them, it seems like he's always calling to talk about the next one he's going to buy . . .
