Joel is a highly regarded and sought after saxophonist that plays tenor, alto, and soprano sax as well as flute and keyboard. He's played with such greats as Natalie Cole, Albert Collins, Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie, The Temptations, Wayne Newton, The Coasters, The Drifters, and comedy acts like Danny Marona and Pete Barbutti. His recording credits include three solo releases: "Nefron," "Just For You," and "Hot Sax."
Joel and Brother Dan have the same birthday, and have been playing together for over 20 years. For fun, Joel likes to go fast. You might see him on his motorcycle, in his Corvette (the latest toy in his collection), on snow skis, or on the playa on his mountain bike, although you might not recognize the blur . . .
